With 20+ years experience in healthcare and life sciences, combined with degrees in business and life sciences, Amanda is well suited for projects that require detailed analysis, systematic business case development, comprehensive implementation and continued measurement. In all her projects, she strives to balance the analytical and technical aspects with what is needed to develop and sustain relationships with all stakeholders.
Amanda has rejoined PACE after 5 years as Director of Finance at UCSF. Amanda has also held positions with Tenet as Associate Administrator and Director of Business Development.
Amanda received a BS from Columbia University and an MS from Georgia Institute of Technology, both in Mechanical Engineering. She also has an MBA in entrepreneurial leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Ms. Lamkin is a dynamic leader dedicated to improving healthcare quality. She provides consulting services on sustainable improvement in operational effectiveness with a focus on systems of quality management, licensure, utilization management, margin improvement, physician engagement and enterprise communication. She believes healthcare must operate as a continuum with information sharing critical to success, starting with the Mission and Vision.
Her systematic methodology to organizational effectiveness and improvement has proven to be successful in diverse organizations and settings. As a hospital CEO, her reproducible methodology resulted in great success in the RAC demonstration project and led to multiple publications and speaking engagements to help other organizations design systems for quality and physician engagement resulting in billing compliance and margin protection.
Ms. Lamkin formed PACE Healthcare Consulting, LLC in 2011 along with business partner Amanda Adams, MS, MBA and serves a broad array of clients such as Bay Care, Roper St. Francis, CHRISTUS Health, Parkland Health and Hospital System, University of California San Francisco, American Association of Physician Advisors (ACPA), Quorum Health Resources and HEALTHSOUTH Corporation.
Ms. Lamkin has successfully led teams in both system wide and departmental redesign for improvement. Engagements include: crisis intervention for multi-facility organization to bring them into compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation including external and post-acute services, leading strategic planning, national HCAHPS consulting team; redesign of quality function including medical staff for multi-hospital system; redesign of utilization management function, physician engagement; design and implementation of Physician Advisor program in multi-facility system; enterprise wide quality system redesign including risk and patient experience.
Ms. Lamkin holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and a B.A. in Business Administration, University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC.

Judy draws on nearly 30 years of experience, specializing in strategic planning, business development and growth strategies for healthcare providers and emerging health care companies. She is recognized for her work with physicians, boards and senior teams to improve performance, enhance market position and drive strategic business growth. Her clients include a wide range of hospital systems and healthcare organizations in both the not-for-profit and investor owned sectors. Prior to consulting, Judy served in senior leadership roles with Kindred Healthcare, Tenet Healthcare and Egleston Children’s Health Care System.
Judy holds a MHA from University of Michigan and a BS from Boston University. She also has served as Board Chairman and a member of the Board of Trustees for several non-profit organizations in Tampa Bay.
